Stiff Little Fingers

Coming in just towards the end of the first wave of punk, Northern Ireland's Stiff Little Fingers were as politically conscious as any of their peers, but considerably more melodic than many punk bands. As their approach expanded over time, they added reggae to their mix of punk and pop, making for a unique style. They broke up in the early 1980s, but reunited a decade later, embarking on a series of recordings and tours that took them all the way into the 2000s. By this time, Stiff Little Fingers were well recognised as important progenitors of the pop-punk scene.
