Peter Sellers

Blessed with an almost schizophrenic ability to slide in and out of characters and voices, Peter Sellers portrayed members of various British social classes to hilarious effect, and created the famed role of Inspector Clouseau in the Pink Panther films. From his beginnings as a member of the GOON SHOW, BBC Radio's precursor to Monty Python, Sellers's impressions and quirky humour proved him a comic genius, making it easy to laugh at him whether on the big screen or elsewhere.
