Kylie

Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue began as an actress, working on the TV show NEIGHBOURS, whose UK popularity helped the young singer taking up with megapop production team Stock, Aitken & Waterman. With that titanic trio behind her, Kylie became the queen of the British pop charts, scoring hit after hit. Though Kylie reigned supreme in the UK, establishing a Madonna-like presence on records and in films, she didn't take off in America until her 2002 album FEVER. Following 2003's Body Language, Kylie was diagnosed with breast cancer, a disease that went into remission in two years. She returned in 2007 with X, the same year she launched an extensive tour, and three years later she delivered her eleventh album.
