Ellie Goulding

Alternative singer/songwriter Ellie Goulding was born in England, grew up in Wales, and eventually moved to London, where she launched her career and befriended a number of producers, among them Starsmith and Frankmusik, who gave her songs an electro-pop twist. In 2009 Goulding emerged as a blogosphere favourite; in short time she was praised in mainstream media publications such as "The Guardian" and courted by record labels. She ultimately signed a major-label deal with Polydor and released Lights, her full-length album debut, in 2010. In addition, she penned songs for Diana Vickers, Gabriella Climi, and others.
