Dirty Pretty Things

After the widely publicised break-up of the Libertines in 2004, songwriter Carl Barat recruited ex-bandmate Gary Powell and assembled a new band, Dirty Pretty Things. Though Barat was forced to undergo an operation to remove a tumour shortly after the group formed, the lads soldiered on and released their debut album, WATERLOO TO ANYWHERE, in mid-2006, marking a continuation of the Libertines' passionate, melodic, punk-inspired sound.
