Basement Jaxx

Felix Burton and Simon Ratcliffe started out as two British DJ's enamoured of the sounds of '70s funk and '80s house. By the mid-'90s, the pair were turning heads with singles and remixes that used house as a starting point for innovative explorations of electronic dance music's possibilities, mixing it with garage, raga, dub, and more. With REMEDY, their first full-length, Basement Jaxx became a worldwide phenomenon, respected as part of electronica's upper echelon.
